Gerald and Ruth NygrenRuth was raised & accepted Jesus as her Savior in Pangman, SK.  Gerald grew up near Golden, BC and accepted the Lord at age 11. Ruth graduated from Jubilee Bible College, BC and Spanish Language School in McAllen, TX, where she and Gerald met. Gerald studied at Eston College, Briercrest College & Seminary, Logos Seminary, and Spanish Language School. Gerald began full-time ministry in 1975, which included a short-term mission trip to Belize and Guatemala. Ruth served as a short-term missionary in Mexico, and as an apprentice missionary.  They were married on July 14, 1979.  Since then they have served together primarily to Spanish-speaking people in Mexico, Guatemala and other areas of Latin America.

Present Ministry: Gerald & Ruth focus on outreach evangelism, Bible teaching, and establishing national churches in Latin America. Presently based in Puebla, MX (about two hours East of Mexico City).

Challenges: Spiritual judgment & discernment with the unsaved and local church leaders and pastors.  Health, strength, stamina to counsel, preach, teach and train. Spirits sensitive to the Spirit’s guidance.

Family: Two grown sons: Joel in Champion, AB and Simon and his wife Luisa in Langley, BC.  Gerald’s parents in Kelowna, BC.  Ruth’s dad in Regina, SK.
