(In transition for the next year)

Oliver grew up in a small town in the Black Forest, southern Germany. Though raised & confirmed in the state church, his personal relationship with the Lord began later after attending a retreat for young people.  He was very involved in boys and youth ministry in an international church in Germany before coming to Canada.  Deborah grew up in a pastor’s family and accepted Christ at 7 yrs. of age and while in high school realized that Christ wanted to live through her, instead of her having to try to live a good Christian life.  From the time she was 13 she has felt the call to missions.  They and their 2 little sons moved to Sweden, working at Torchbearer Center (a Christian training center for youth) for after spending 5 years as Youth pastor at PGF.

Beginning the second phase of application with OMF International.

God has been drawing their hearts toward a ministry in the Mekong region of Southeast Asia.  After several months of exploring this ministry and finally visiting the field, they have decided to apply with OMF International.  God has been putting things together in a way that only He can, and they are excited to be on this adventure with Him!  They will be based in Germany during the application time with OMF and deputation.
