Bible Reading Plans
The Lord desires to speak to us Himself by speaking directly through the scriptures. Bible reading needs to be one of the fundamental foundations as God builds and establishes our homes, families and His church. Let us not limit this vital ministry of the word to the pulpit on Sunday, but let us incorporate it into every area of our lives and ministries.

In just one chapter a day of easy to read portions this daily Bible reading plan is ideally suited for children. This plan will take you in chronological order through the main historical story line of the Bible beginning with Genesis and ending in Revelation. It also includes many of the New Testament Epistles and a weekly reading from the Psalms. In one year this plan will give you a general overview of the main story of the Bible.

This simple two chapters per day Bible reading plan will take you in chronological order through the historical narrative of the Old Testament plus a daily reading from the New Testament, Psalms, Proverbs and selections of Isaiah. This easy to read plan sticks to the main story line of the Bible and avoids the more difficult to read portions of the Old Testament that often discourage readers from reading the Old Testament (such as the tedious genealogies, and difficult priestly instructions and hard to understand Old Testament prophecies). In one year this plan will give you a good overview of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation.
