We believe that a key factor in Bible memorization is starting at a very young age.  Young children’s minds are not cluttered. Their brains are very elastic and beg to be stretched. If the habit of memorization is started at a young age, it will become as regular in our lives as brushing teeth or making the bed. Once it is established as part of the routine of life, the habit can easily last a lifetime. We especially want to encourage parents and children to memorize scripture together. Children learn best by example. They learn by watching their parents. Parents must model what they want children to learn. If you want your children to value Bible memorization you must value it and demonstrate it. Your kids will enjoy memorizing with you.

The Lord desires to speak to us Himself by speaking directly through the scriptures. Bible reading needs to be one of the fundamental foundations as God builds and establishes our homes, families and His church. Let us not limit this vital ministry of the word to the pulpit on Sunday, but let us incorporate it into every area of our lives and ministries.

Two plans for reading the complete Bible in one year and one plan to read the New Testament in one year (in just one chapter per day).
